why do i feel like i'm "stuck" in the midwest?
will i start feeling that way about LA too?
what do i need in order to not feel so stuck?

i don't know if you check this anymore, but this is killing me. you were one of my best friends, and now we aren't even talking anymore. i'm sorry i hurt you; i didn't mean to. it wasn't supposed to end that way. we weren't supposed to stop being friends. what went wrong?

so i just finished watching pretty woman, and i love how sometimes the most random things help you learn things about yourself. or reaffirm a few things you already knew, and make you want them even more.

1) i want the fairy tale -- the tower, the prince, the white horse..the whole shabang. i'm worth it, gosh darnit.
2) i live in LA, which is pretty darn close to hollywood (the land of dreams). what are my dreams? i may not know exactly what they are, but i know moving to california is a huge part of them. there are just so many things i want to do that i don't feel i can do by living in the midwest. the world is so big, and i don't want to miss a single part of it, i don't want to waste another minute feeling stuck. i want to go out there and savor every moment.
3) where do i see myself in 10 years? someone asked me this today, and i didn't know what to tell them. i may not know what career i want to have, but i know that i want to be married, and i want to be a mom. yep, wife and mom (in that order) by 29..i really like that idea.
4) no more settling.
5) i deserve to be happy.

A student reported being harassed by another student at the Alpha Chi Omega sorority house at about 6 a.m. Saturday. The matter was referred to Judicial Affairs.
